Sandusky City School District is searching for an experienced and innovative instructional leader to become the next Sandusky High School Principal. Sandusky High School is a comprehensive high school providing students in grades 9 - 12 multiple academic pathways to graduation, including Blue Streak University (CCP), The Global Internship Experience, Programs for Success (Career Tech), and Great Lakes Visual & Performing Arts Academy as well as many extracurricular activities. 
Candidates for this position are required to meet the following qualifications: Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction or related field; Valid Administrative License: High School Principal 9-12; minimum of three years successful teaching experience; successful history of leading people, managing budgets, and building an ethical, professional, and committed team; ability to successfully work with diverse internal and external groups; experience developing a climate that is safe, goal oriented with high expectations; ability to recruit and retain students in the high school age bracket; ability to work with middle school leaders ensuring a seamless transition for students from middle school to high school; evidence of team building ability; ability to comprehend student achievement data as it relates to academic performance and utilizes the data to lead the high school to improve rating on the Ohio Report Card.
