To ensure the health and safety of members, OSBA is canceling workshops and in-person meetings through May 1. In addition, the OSBA staff will work remotely to continue serving members.

Senate activity
The Senate passed Senate Bill (SB) 212 by a vote of 29-1. The bill would provide a full or partial tax exemption to developers and owners of newly constructed homes within specified areas during the construction period and for 10 years after the home is occupied.

School Board Recognition Month recap

Reynoldsburg City Schools celebrated its board members for their “out-of-this-world commitment” to the district’s students during their January meeting. Elementary school students created thank-you notes for the board members, and Reynoldsburg Mayor Joe Begeny was on hand to read a proclamation recognizing the board. Certificates of appreciation were given to each board member, and the celebration was capped off with a special vocal performance by the Reynoldsburg High School Chamber Singers.
