Due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic and state of Ohio regulations, OSBA is announcing that the 2020 Capital Conference and Trade Show will be held as a virtual event this year.
The scholarships have been received and are pending review. Once winners are selected, all applicants will be notified.
As school district leaders determine the best options for their local communities, OSBA is compiling restart plans from districts across the state.
On July 20, the Ohio Controlling Board approved requests to appropriate $100 million additional CARES Act funding for K-12 schools. This funding comes from the Coronavirus Relief Fund of the CARES Act and is separate from the $440 million recently allocated from the Elementary and Secondary School Education Relief (ESSER) Fund.
