Geena Davis is the new Second General Session on Tuesday, Nov. 13, joining Alex Banayan, who will lead the First General Session on Nov. 11.

Communicating about online learning opportunities for students

Students around the country have more educational opportunities thanks to a growing number of courses delivered online. A report by the National Center for Education Statistics found that 55% of districts had students enrolled in online programs (http://links.ohioschoolboards.org/46414).

Ohio's Attorney General files lawsuit against ECOT's former officials

In January, the ESC of Lake Erie West (ESC), which was the sponsor of the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow (ECOT), voted to suspend the operation of the community (charter) school. ECOT suspended operations and closed shortly afterward.
