Expecting to place a bond or levy issue on the ballot in the next few years? Review guidance and practical insights in the Levy University workshop.

Review comprehensive insights into school district levies and bond issues, including a detailed explanation of various levies, an explanation of millage and guidance on filing resolutions and crafting appropriate ballot language. We’ll also review recent guidance from the Ohio Auditor of State’s Office.

We encourage board members and district administrators to attend as a leadership team to review information critical to the effective planning and execution of initiatives within their district. We’ll discuss the distinct roles and responsibilities of superintendents, treasurers and board members in the levy process. Essential policy considerations will also be highlighted to ensure a thorough understanding of the broader context surrounding levy and bond issue preparations
