OSBA has resources to help you in your advocacy efforts:
"Effective advocacy for school leaders" offers nine steps to help school board members and administrators become strong advocates for their school districts.
Host a "meet the candidates" event to learn their positions on education. OSBA created a candidates' night toolkit with the steps to hosting a successful event, timelines and sample forms and letters.
Contribute to Kids PAC, OSBA's political action committee. Kids PAC is a way for us to focus attention on our legislative agenda and to support lawmakers who believe in our goals.
