Superintendents

• Belmont-Harrison JVSD Superintendent Richard Schoene announced his retirement effective Aug. 15.
• Brown Local (Carroll) hired elementary principal Danielle Hawk as superintendent effective Aug. 1. She will replace Mark Scott who took the superintendent position at Minerva Local (Stark). 
• Fairbanks Local (Union) hired Chief Academic Officer Janel Chapman as superintendent effective Aug. 1. She will replace Adham C. Schirg who is retiring.
• Frontier Local (Washington) hired Ryan Caldwell as superintendent effective Aug. 1. He will replace Beth Brown who is retiring July 31. Caldwell is currently a principal at Belmont-Harrison JVSD.
• Minerva Local (Stark) hired Mark Scott as superintendent effective Aug. 1. He will replace Gary Chaddock who is retiring. Scott is currently superintendent at Brown Local (Carroll).
• Putnam County ESC hired Nick Verhoff as superintendent effective Aug. 1. He will replace Dr. Jan Osborn who is retiring. Verhoff is currently superintendent at Columbus Grove Local (Putnam).

Treasurers

• Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Treasurer Scott Gainer announced his retirement effective July 31. 
• Sandy Valley Local (Stark) hired Interim Treasurer Jonathan Pusateri as treasurer effective Jan. 1. He replaced Tricia Schreffler who took a position with the College of Wooster.

Sympathies

• Former North Union Local (Union), North Central Ohio ESC and Tri-Rivers Career Center Board of Education member Robert Gene Wiley died March 26. He was 90.
