President-elect
Included in his/her duties, the president-elect:
- provides the president any assistance required and serves as president in case of temporary absence or disability of the president;
- assumes the office of president upon the vacancy of said office by reason of expiration of term of office or upon the death or resignation of the president, or upon forfeiture of office for cause as determined by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the full Board of Trustees;
- participates in the annual business meeting;
- serves as member of the Capital Conference Planning Committee;
- serves as chair of the FRN;
- serves as trustee of the OSBA Legal Assistance Fund;
- serves as trustee of the OSBA Insurance Trust;
- serves as chair of the Legislative Platform Committee;
- serves as delegate to the COSSBA Delegate Assembly at their annual conference;
- attends the COSSBA Leadership Conference and the COSSBA Advocacy Conference;
- attends meetings of Ohio’s education management organizations;
- attends the OSBA regional conferences (optional); and
- performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Trustees.
